Biologic surgery graft

上市日期: 2015-11-15

Biologic surgery graft is an innovative product independently developed by Shanghai PINE&POWER Biotech Co., Ltd. It is the world’s first tissue repair material made of nano-level super-hydrophilic electro-spinning composite biomaterial, belonging to class-III medical apparatus and instruments. The product has been evaluated by the Center for Medical Device Evaluation, CFDA, which agreed to carry out the approval according to the “special approval procedure for innovative medical instruments (on trial)”. In addition, this product is the commercialized product of two 863 Program projects, which were carried out in cooperation with Sichuan University and Fudan University respectively.

Product description

Biologic surgery graft is a nano-level fiber membrane material similar to extracellular matrix, which is made of degradable polymer material and biological materials by using the electro-spinning technology. It is a non-crosslinked tissue repair material with 3-D net-like framework. This material can be used to make a series of tissue repair materials, including dural graft, pleura graft, heart graft, peritoneum graft, and bladder graft.

Good histocompatibility

Appropriate degradation and regeneration rate and mechanical strength

Good antibacterial effect, preventing infection effectively

Large-scale production, meeting the specific requirements for specifications and shapes in clinical applications

The degradation manner of P&P Remodeling TM series of biologic surgery graft is progressive fracture of fibers, which is beneficial to tissue regeneration. The tissue regenerates with the layer-by-layer degradation of the graft, and in this way, both fast degradation and the mechanical strength gained in the regenerative process can be guaranteed. Animal tests showed that the graft would be completely replaced by tissue 12 weeks after the implantation.

With better histocompatibility, organism-derived materials can induce the growth of autologous tissue and promote healing response, and they are expected to avoid the complications of synthetic graft (such as erosion, fistula, and infection).
